Objective and Outcomes: *

In North Dakota, we are all aware of the challenges our small, “Class B” schools are facing: attracting and retaining teachers, declining enrollment, technology challenges, school safety and emergency preparedness, mental and behavioral health, and financial management, to name a few. The Rural School Summit aims to help school leaders better address these issues through networking and brainstorming.

The NDSBA Annual Convention aims to allow school leaders to network with other professionals in the field, as well as provide pertinent information and updates on school law, federal funding, legislation changes, and more.

Resources/Course Materials: *

Course materials will be provided by each individual breakout session host.

Attendance: *

Registration booth each morning and session summary link will be provided to those applying for credit.

Evaluation and Evidence of Learning and Application: *

Participants will show evidence of learning through completing an online session summary assignment.
