Objective and Outcomes: *

Increase knowledge of special education law & evidence-based practices. Increase knowledge of the state of ND's special education policy & procedures. Increase the understanding of the differences between the MTSS process, section 504, and an IEP. Allow teachers & administrators across ND a chance to share their knowledge, ideas, & resources.

Resources/Course Materials: *

Webinars will be hosted through Microsoft Teams. Recorded presentations, as well as all handouts, will be shared through a Microsoft Teams group. Attendance will be tracked via the completion of a post-training survey/application activity. Participants will share information during live sessions but will also have the opportunity to post resources & share info via the Teams platform. Attendance will be tracked via sign-in sheets. Evaluation and Evidence of Learning and Application: *

Participants will attend a blend of online presentations, live webinars, and in-person professional development. At each training participants will be asked to share through an online platform additional information they have on the topic, gained learning, or questions they still have. This will enable them to connect with other participants across the state to gain more knowledge or share what they know.
