Objective and Outcomes: *

1) Students will describe new resources and strategies gained and create a plan for how they will apply them to their future teaching practices.
2) Students will evaluate their past teaching practices and identify solutions to any challenges or problems they face.
3) Students will synthesize the information collected with fellow educators in order to promote growth for entire school community.

Resources/Course Materials: *

Books, articles, and videos will all be used as recommended by and provided by workshop speakers throughout the event. Those resources are not provided prior to the event.

Attendance: *

Attendance will be taken in person and reflection papers will be submitted upon completion of event.

Evaluation and Evidence of Learning and Application: *

1) Students will keep a record of workshops attended and submit a summary and reflection on each session to describe new resources and strategies gained and indicate their plan for growth.
2) Students will submit a reflection paper on the event overall, with special attention given to their own past teaching, identifying strengths, weaknesses, and solutions that may help them become better educators.
3) Students will present their learning during subsequent staff meetings and professional development days to promote learning for entire school community.
