January 26- Early Literacy and Getting Started with Morning Message
• Assignment- video yourself using the morning message interactive writing with a whole group or small group (bring to next session)

February 11- Prepping and Planning and In-the-Moment Teaching Decisions
• Assignment- video yourself using interactive writing and write down your in-the moment teaching decisions (bring to next session)

February 23- Concepts of Print
• Assignment- Take a photo of an interactive writing you did with your students- reflect and be ready to share the concepts of print you taught (or could have taught) during that particular lesson (bring to next session)

March 9- Phonics and Decoding and Working with Words
• Assignment- Take a photo of an interactive writing you did with your students- reflect and be ready to share the phonics concepts you taught (or could have taught) during that particular lesson (bring to next session)

March 25- Monitoring a Message for Meaning and Fluency
• Assignment- Video an interactive writing lesson and be ready to share with the group (bring to next session)

April 13- Lifting our Practices
• Assignment- Send a reflection to instructor on how you plan to implement interactive writing during the next school year
