|Objective and Outcomes: *|
|The goal of this event is to expand teachers' knowledge about educational topics and improve their use of instructional strategies. In particular, teachers will learn about instructional strategies for increasing student collaboration & communication, ways to incorporate Chromebooks in lessons, and ideas for emphasizing literacy in content areas, among other topics. This course will also offer teachers an opportunity to observe their colleagues' classrooms and discuss the ways in which common problems of practice can be addressed in various classroom settings. The desired outcome is that each teacher will improve his or her classroom practice because of what he or she has learned.|

|Evaluation and Evidence of Learning and Application: *||Each participant will engage in small-group and large-group discussion during which they will summarize their learning and share their plans for incorporating new strategies into their classroom practice. Participants will also provide to feedback to colleagues whose classrooms they observe.|
