Objective and Outcomes: 

  • At the completion of this course teachers will be able to articulate how to engage in successful and supportive peer observation. 
  • Participants will have a resource of reflections provided to them by those educators that watched them teach. These reflections will be specific to the traits the host teacher asked participants to look for and reflect on. 
  • Participants will provide course facilitator with a final reflection on what was learned both from the text and the time spent observing and being observed. 

Evaluation and Evidence of Learning and Application:

  • Participants will be required to come prepared to have discussion based on the chapters of the book. Participants will also write reflections based on what they watch in other rooms and reflections based on what others say in regard to watching them teach.
