Objective and Outcomes: *

Master teachers will assist their student teachers through the creation of multiple PBL lessons to implement during their semester of student teaching.

Evaluation and Evidence of Learning and Application: *

The master teacher will submit 2 PBL projects that they will complete with their student teacher. The PBL projects must follow the Buck Institute for Education PBL Template.
The master teachers will complete the following:
1. Project-Based Learning Slice Training on October 24 & 25. PBL Slice is a two-day workshop designed to learn about high-quality PBL by experiencing a project as a learner.
2.PBL 101 is scheduled for November 6, 7, and 8. This three-day intensive hands-on professional development session is customized for TEP-district partnerships and designed to deepen the understanding of the BIE Gold Standard PBL and design projects.
3. Coaching Modules: In the Coaching Modules you will be learning about the following five topics: Defining and Building; Launching the PBL Coaching Cycle; Implement and Support; Analyzing Impact Post-Project; and, Reflecting on the PBL Coaching Experience. The Modules will be completed through the Canvas Learning Management System beginning with the first Module in early October and the last Module in early March.
4. PBL Symposium: A PBL Symposium will be held in the month of April to showcase the work done in the classroom settings.
