Objective and outcomes: 
  • Gain an understanding of the assessment process and procedures used for children and adolescents consistent with ethical and professional standards.
  • Acquire knowledge in developmentally appropriate test selection and psychometrics (e.g., standardization sample, reliability, validity, test floors and ceiling).
  • Acquire competency in administration and scoring of the WIAT- III, WJ-IV ACH, KeyMath-3, AIMSweb, and BASC-
  • Acquire knowledge in interpreting results for the WIAT- III, WJ-IV ACH, KeyMath-3, AIMSweb and BASC-3.
  • Communicate test findings and academic recommendations accurately and clearly through oral and written presentations.

Evaluation and Evidence of Learning and Application:
  • Evaluation of administration checklist and evaluation of written assessment report.
  • Participation in classroom discussion.
