Objective and Outcomes: *

Credit Options:
All attendees taking the learning for credit will write a commitment statement that establishes a SMART goal for the rest of the semester and year.
Zero Credit Option: Attend the Path Training.
One Credit Option: Attend the Path Training and engage in one co-plan, co-teach or teach/observe, and assess cycle. Bring student work for assessing.
Two Credit Option: Attend the Path training and engage in one co-plan, co-teach or teach/observe, and assess cycle (fall semester). And choose one of the following options for Spring Semester:
Engage in an additional co-plan, co-teach or teach/observe, and assess cycle. Bring student work for assessing.
Attempt a reading/literacy strategy repeatedly over time → Track several students to observe for growth. Engage in a reflection around the benefits of applying the same strategy repeatedly over time.
Choose to engage in a Before, During, and After reading strategy to enhance student comprehension and engagement. Collect Student work. Engage in a reflection around the benefits of pre-during-and post reading strategies.
Engage in I Go - We Go - You Go gradual release with observation from a coach
Observe another Path attendee and engage in reflective conversation around student behaviors and student work.
Think about what makes sense for YOU to apply the new learning to increase literacy in your area. Run your idea past your Instructional Coach for approval. Your idea must involve student evidence.
