Participants will:

Demonstrate a solid understanding of the goals and objectives of the AVID elective course

Be able to incorporate WICOR strategies into all aspects of the AVID Elective course

Organize the necessary elements to conduct a successful AVID Elective course

Resources/Course Materials: *

Mandan will utilize key research articles and procedures documents from AVID teachers that have a wide array of experience in this area.

Attendance: *

Sign-in sheet / participation in online course

Evaluation and Evidence of Learning and Application: *

Participants will be required to produce lesson plans and a list of procedures that will be utilized in their courses for the year. Furthermore, we will be setting up check-in meetings with our instructional coaches on their AVID progress throughout the year.
