Panelists will discuss concerns about the future of healthcare in an environment with rising healthcare costs and unstable reimbursements. How will North Dakota medical facilities operate to provide screenings and treatment for chronic disease and cancer patients.  Hospitals and clinics will learn how to create palliative care teams. Attendees will learn about POLST--Physician orders for life-sustaining treatment paradigm. Medication or Meals: the cost of cancer to patients and families. Tobacco control: HUD's newest information on smoke-free public Housing. Ins and Outs of Head and Neck Cancer with news about HPV vaccinations. Quality Payment Program: Merit-based incentive payment system that will reform Medicare Part B payments for clinicians and improve care across the entire healthcare delivery system.
