Objective and Outcomes: *

• Attendees will examine the school-based mental health professionals' roles and responsibilities, with a special emphasis on crisis intervention and recovery.
• Attendees will engage in round-table discussion regarding myths presented regarding FBA’s and be introduced to considerations for the implementation of the different types of functional analysis within a school that would address concerns.
• Attendees will watch “Most Likely To Succeed” and explore compelling new approaches that aim to revolutionize education as we know it. They will learn how to inspire school communities to reimagine what students and teachers are capable of doing.
• Attendees will review the components of a curriculum based evaluation (CBE) as well as learn the basic skills needed to conduct a CBE in the school setting.
• Attendees will attend the President’s address and GPR Update where they will learn the role of the school psychologist in North Dakota Schools.

Pass/Fail—To earn a “Pass”, participants need to attend complete programming including Thursday, Thursday Evening, and Friday as well as 1 hour of reading the PREPaRE manual.
