Objective and Outcomes: *

To develop an understanding of boarding schools, historical trauma in Native American children and the misunderstandings created when the cultures of a dominant society and an indigenous society clash.
To understand and develop ideas or lessons reflective of this understanding to implement in the classroom. Teachers will create culturally responsive lesson plans both to implement and share with colleagues.
