The workshops will provide teachers with a variety of instructional strategies designed to help students acquire the knowledge and skills necessary to be successful in the course and on the AP exam. Using model lessons, labs, activities, and tasks, participants will consider how different methodological approaches can help them address the content and skill issues revealed in the student samples they examined during scoring.

Trainers and teachers will discuss trends in student work and will consider techniques for providing effective feedback to students. In addition, teachers will examine strategies, lessons, activities, and tasks that address gaps in student ability or understanding before the exam. Teachers will leave the training with an understanding of how to use data to inform exam preparation, and they will create long-term plans for adjusting or modifying course implementation for the next academic year.

Participants are fully engaged in hands on, learner centered activities during each of the instructional days. Attendance is taken daily through attendance of online sessions and completion of offline practice and reflections. Course completion certificates are granted.
Grading for this event is proposed as Pass/Fail demonstrated through Certificate of Completion of the sessions.
