Objective and Outcomes: *

•Participants will be able to confidently and explicitly instruct note-taking strategies, including a summary.
•Participants will know and implement several strategies to increase note taking with all students (foldable, graphic organizers, mind maps, 10-2-2, shoulder partners, think-pair-share, etc.).
•Participants will move beyond teaching students how to take notes and into how to effectively use notes: record, reduce, recite, reflect, review. 
•Participants will be able to analyze strengths and weakness in mathematical processes as directly related to note-taking.
