Full course description

Benjamin Franklin has been credited with the quote, “Fail to plan, plan to fail.” How does this resonate when the effort is as ambiguous as designing the plane while flying it? This session provides participants with an overview of proper planning and estimation to successfully ready for a Scrum iteration.

This session is facilitated by Dr. Mark Fitzloff, Microsoft Business Program Manager. Mark Fitzloff is a perpetual student of learning.  He also directs the Master of Project Management program at the University of Mary, serving as a member of the faculty for over 11 years.  Also, being a certified Project Management Professional, he has 18 years within the software industry, serving in a variety of capacities. Prior his work within the software industry, Mark had served over 9 years as a rescue professional (crash, fire, rescue, diver, paramedic). His personal motto is "Always curious, ready to learn, and ask questions!"
